Junior Data Analyst – SQL, Python, BI (Pharma Manufacturing)

About the role

This is an entry‑level, hands‑on data analyst position within a life‑science manufacturing technology company. You will own the full data cycle – from collection to analysis – and work directly with operations teams on real manufacturing datasets. The role is a consulting mission based onsite in the canton of Vaud, running until the end of December 2026 with a budget review in October.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate, and clean manufacturing data from multiple sources.
• Build and run SQL queries to extract and structure relevant datasets.
• Analyse data and deliver clear, actionable insights to operations teams.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire.
• Create and sustain AI‑assisted tools that automate report generation from manufacturing databases.
• Support the implementation and testing of AI solutions for data processing and knowledge management.

Required profile

• First professional experience in data analysis with SQL databases.
• Proficiency in Python, R or a comparable scripting language.
• Working knowledge of a business intelligence tool (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, or equivalent).
• Experience or interest in pharma or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong interest in AI / machine‑learning concepts.
• Professional working level English; French is a clear asset.
