Junior Finance Analyst

About the role

The Junior Finance Analyst will report directly to the Group CFO, supporting financial management and decision‑making across the Group. The role blends performance analysis with project‑oriented work, helping drive cross‑functional initiatives at the Group level.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse commercial and operational performance, focusing on sales development, gross margin, profitability, operating expenses, working capital and purchasing performance.
• Identify and explain deviations from budget, forecast and prior‑year results, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Prepare financial analyses, management reports, presentations and decision‑support materials for senior management.
• Support and coordinate cross‑functional projects sponsored by the Group CFO, collecting and analysing information, monitoring progress and preparing recommendations.
• Develop business cases and financial evaluations for strategic projects, investments and organisational restructuring.
• Contribute to the improvement and standardisation of financial and operational processes, seeking greater efficiency, automation and transparency.
• Coordinate the Group insurance portfolio, acting as the main contact for subsidiaries, brokers and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in audit, advisory, controlling or corporate finance, preferably with Big Four exposure.
• Strong analytical ability to translate complex financial data into clear management insights.
• Fluency in English; German or additional European languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and data‑analysis capabilities.
• Experience with ERP and consolidation systems.
• Proficiency with Power BI or similar business‑intelligence tools.
