Junior Software Developer – Web & Business Applications

About the role

Imperix is looking for a versatile junior developer to work at the intersection of software development and marketing. You will maintain and extend the company’s WordPress website, online shop, ERP reporting tools, and internal data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom WordPress plugins, themes, custom post types and fields.
• Update web pages, product settings and pricing, and support content editors.
• Create and adapt ERP report templates, forms and business‑intelligence dashboards.
• Maintain internal data pipelines and dashboards (PHP, Grafana) and provide statistics to colleagues.
• Monitor SEO and analytics tools, handle redirections and ensure new developments are SEO‑friendly.

Required profile

• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent; strong self‑taught portfolio also considered.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; French is a plus.
• Curious, self‑motivated and comfortable switching between diverse tasks.

Required skills

• PHP and WordPress development.
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• SQL database knowledge.
• Experience with Grafana dashboards.
• Basic server administration.
• Familiarity with SEO and web‑analytics tools (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs).
