Lab Assistant (m/w/d) – Environmental Analysis

About the role

ALS is looking for a part-time or full-time (80–100%) lab assistant for its environmental analysis laboratories in Lyss. The role covers laboratory tasks, order processing, sample logistics and some administrative work.

Key responsibilities

• Support analyses and prepare samples
• Handle orders: answer customer requests, receive samples, organise pick-ups, label and sort them
• Manage internal sample logistics, storage and disposal
• Perform administrative tasks in the lab and at interfaces, such as invoicing, depending on skills and interest

Required profile

• Experience in a lab, technical, craft, administration or logistics field is an advantage
• Laboratory experience is desirable but not required
• Careful, organised and conscientious approach
• Team spirit
• Very good spoken and written German
• Computer skills (MS Office)
