About the role

The Lab Manager will ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality laboratory operations within a multi‑tenant, next‑generation life‑sciences coworking space. This role blends technical oversight, operational management, and direct support for lab users, playing a key part in regulatory compliance and user satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory activities across shared and private lab spaces.
• Maintain availability, functionality, and routine servicing of core equipment.
• Manage consumables, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate installation and commissioning of new laboratory infrastructure.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Provide tenant and user support, addressing technical queries and troubleshooting.
• Identify and drive process optimisation and scaling initiatives.
• Contribute to Walter’s growth through communication, business development, and joint projects.

Required profile

• Experience in managing laboratory operations in a multi‑tenant environment.
• Strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements for life‑science labs.
• Ability to coordinate equipment maintenance, inventory, and vendor services.
