Lab Technician – Analytical Internship (80‑100% time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Lab Technician to join our analytical team on a full‑time internship (80‑100% effort). You will support screening studies that assess the environmental fate of agrochemical candidates in soil, water and sediment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare stock, application and calibration solutions and set up study samples.
• Extract, prepare and analyse samples using LC‑MS/MS and high‑resolution LC‑MS.
• Calculate and present results in Excel spreadsheets and evaluate LC‑MS data for metabolites.
• Perform general laboratory and administrative tasks in accordance with GLP.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practice.

Required profile

• Successful apprenticeship as a lab technician or a BSc in Chemistry, Biology or a related field.
• Organised, flexible and able to work both independently and in a team.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; German or French is a plus.
• Interest in agrochemical or pharmaceutical research and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• LC‑MS/MS and high‑resolution LC‑MS operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
