Lead, Communications Partnering & Planning

About the role

The Global Communications Group at the World Economic Forum is seeking a Lead for Communications Partnering & Planning. This senior position will support the Strategic Communications & Coordination team by shaping proactive communications plans for priority initiatives, events, and products worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Forum Centres, event teams and other functions as the primary communications advisor.
• Build trusted relationships to understand priorities and provide strategic and tactical counsel.
• Lead annual and quarterly communications planning, creating integrated plans for initiatives, reports, campaigns and milestones.
• Design, lead and evaluate cross‑cutting thematic campaigns that unite teams across the organization.
• Maintain and evolve the institutional communications calendar in line with organizational priorities.
• Develop narratives, key messages and communications priorities for major events.
• Coordinate implementation across media, public engagement, digital and stakeholder communications teams.
• Provide guidance on editorial planning, brand, messaging and visual identity standards.
• Facilitate workshops, planning sessions and briefings to strengthen communications capabilities.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in strategic communications and planning.
• Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong advisory skills with a focus on advancing institutional objectives.
• Experience leading integrated communications campaigns and managing complex calendars.
• Excellent narrative development and messaging expertise.
