Marketing Lead – Global Market Development

About the role

This role is responsible for driving global market development and launch readiness strategies to support successful product commercialization. Working closely with global, regional, and cross‑functional stakeholders, you will lead market‑shaping initiatives, develop go‑to‑market plans, oversee messaging and omnichannel campaigns, and ensure organizational readiness for launch.

Key responsibilities

• Partner closely with GCL to develop cohesive market‑shaping and creation strategies across customers, functions and regions.
• Lead execution of marketing development tactical plans, ensuring an omnichannel footprint that enables launch success.
• Oversee onboarding and management of agency partners to create tactical assets and programs.
• Develop messaging hierarchy, creative guidelines, and support go‑to‑market launch strategies including positioning and tactical plans.
• Support launch readiness reviews and global SWOT analyses to mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
• 12‑15 years of biopharmaceutical marketing experience, preferably in lupus or dermatology/rheumatology.
• Proven ability to collaborate across commercial, medical affairs, insights, communications and external agencies.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel for analytical work.
• Experience with promo tools such as VEEVA and PowerPoint.
• Strong background in digital marketing strategy and omnichannel campaign execution.
