Lead - Inbound Transportation Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Inbound Transport Operations Lead to join our Global Inbound Transportation Team in Zurich. Reporting to the Head of Inbound Transportation Operations, you will drive strategic initiatives, ensure timely product flow from suppliers to warehouses, and continuously improve our transportation network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic transport initiatives, including new warehouse flows, LSP onboarding, and scaling Direct Ship operations.
• Optimize inbound delivery performance for assigned markets across air, sea, road, and courier modes, meeting SLAs and lead‑time targets.
• Build strong partnerships with logistics service providers, regional operations, customs, and supply planning to mitigate disruptions.
• Co‑lead monthly and quarterly business reviews with LSPs and market teams to evaluate KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Standardize and align global transport requirements, fostering best‑practice sharing while maintaining local agility.

Required profile

• Degree in business, economics, logistics, supply chain, information systems or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in global transport operations, preferably in apparel/fashion or freight forwarding.
• Broad knowledge of airfreight, seafreight, truck and courier services.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
