Lead Polymer Process Engineer

About the role

Join us at the heart of the revolution as a hands‑on Lead Process Engineer on LightSpray production sites, linking engineering and live operations to ensure robust, repeatable, and scalable technology.

Key responsibilities

• Drive data‑driven process validation by executing experimental designs (DoE) and validation protocols for high‑volume manufacturing.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for machine parameters and material processing issues, performing root‑cause analysis on process deviations and product defects.
• Support global deployment of LightSpray machinery, traveling up to 20 % to assist site readiness and translate factory feedback into technical improvements.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on operational feedback to ensure repeatability across sites.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering or Material Science, or apprenticeship in polymer processing or automation.
• 6+ years of industry experience in process execution, machine troubleshooting, and process validation within polymer processing or related manufacturing technologies.
• Willingness to travel globally up to 20 % and strong cross‑functional communication skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Required skills

• Practical experience with experimental design (DoE) and process validation.
• Hands‑on troubleshooting of machine parameters and material processing issues.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems and ability to read wiring schematics; experience wiring electrical components is a plus.
• Data‑driven root‑cause analysis.
