Lead – Shore Excursions Operations

About the role

The Lead, Shore Excursions Operations is responsible for shaping and expanding the portfolio of shore‑excursion and port‑of‑call experiences offered to Celebrity Cruises guests. Based in Basel, the role combines market research, product development and strategic planning to deliver innovative tours, pre‑ and post‑cruise packages, and destination‑related experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a 12‑to‑18‑month product roadmap for shore excursions across more than 200 destinations.
• Assess existing tours, identify strengths and gaps, and recommend enhancements to drive guest satisfaction and revenue.
• Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and site visits to uncover new opportunities and trends.
• Collaborate with product owners, destination development, revenue management and external partners to bring concepts to market.
• Prepare product briefs, guest experience briefs and success criteria for each offering.
• Present market insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product development, tourism, or hospitality, preferably within cruise or travel brands.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate research into actionable product plans.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
• Ability to work autonomously while aligning with broader brand strategy.
