Lecturer – Education Focused Project Management

About the role

UNSW Canberra is seeking an Education‑focused Lecturer in Project Management to join the School of Engineering and Technology. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching for postgraduate (and potentially undergraduate) programmes and contributing to curriculum innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging Project Management courses.
• Teach and assess students in the UNSW‑Project‑Management‑Programs and Master of Project Management (Canberra).
• Supervise student projects and theses.
• Collaborate with academic staff to enhance learning experiences and adopt innovative teaching methods.
• Participate in programme development, review and continuous improvement activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Project Management or a closely related discipline, or a Master’s degree with substantial relevant experience.
• Strong academic and professional record in Project Management.
• Significant industry experience enabling practical integration of theory and practice.
• Proven experience in course development and delivery at postgraduate or undergraduate level.

• Fixed‑term (2‑year) full‑time contract (35 hrs/week).
• Level B remuneration starting at $127,947 AUD plus leave loading and 17 % superannuation.
