Legal Advisor

About the role

Flowable is seeking a Legal Advisor to act as a strategic partner, guiding the company through complex regulatory landscapes as it expands its AI‑driven process automation platform. The role combines legal expertise with a deep understanding of technology, data privacy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, review and negotiate software licensing, services, supplier, data protection/privacy, employment, corporate and IP agreements.
• Lead international data protection and compliance programmes, including DPO duties, ROPA management and monitoring of GDPR, DORA, AI Act and NIS‑2 requirements.
• Create and maintain practical policies, playbooks and guidelines to align internal processes with external regulations.
• Provide clear, actionable advice to cross‑functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, HR and Finance across Flowable’s global entities.

Required profile

• Completed law degree (Master of Law or Swiss law diploma) with solid knowledge of commercial/contract, data protection/privacy and IT law.
• Minimum six years of in‑house or law‑firm experience, preferably with a focus on compliance and emerging regulations.
• Strong project‑management abilities, analytical mindset and a service‑oriented approach in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Native German speaker, business‑fluent English; additional languages such as Spanish are a plus.
