Legal Counsel for International Trusts and Structures

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Counsel to join a Single Family Office in Zurich, focusing on complex international structures and non‑Swiss assets. The role emphasizes trusts, international structuring, regulatory matters and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on US, Swiss and offshore structures, including trusts, SPVs and international companies.
• Work closely with external international law firms, providing senior‑level oversight and challenging advice.
• Support investment‑related legal matters such as fund investments and due diligence.

Required profile

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably with a US or Anglo‑Saxon law background.
• US Bar qualification preferred; strong experience with US assets or coordination with US law firms.
• Expertise in trust law and international structures, especially offshore and US trusts.
• Commercial, pragmatic and solution‑oriented approach to regulatory constraints.
• Fluent in English; Swiss or European experience and some German advantageous.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of trust law, international structuring, regulatory, KYC, UBO and privacy considerations.
