Legal Counsel

About the role

We are strengthening our legal team at L’Occitane Group and are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal advice and support across the Group’s business and entities. Based at our headquarters in Plan‑les‑Ouates (Geneva), the role reports to the Group Head of Legal, Commercial & Corporate Affairs.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate, review, comment on and draft a wide range of legal and commercial documents, including manufacturing, distribution, purchasing and partnership agreements.
• Support the development and management of distribution networks such as selective, exclusive, franchising and distributor models.
• Advise operational teams, particularly sales, marketing and e‑commerce, ensuring compliance with consumer and competition law.
• Help prevent and manage pre‑litigation and litigation matters.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in business or economic law.
• At least five years of experience in a similar corporate, B2C environment.
• Fluent in English and French with strong written communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of contract, distribution and consumer law.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple queries and adopt a business‑oriented, pragmatic mindset.
• Attention to detail, rigorous approach and strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
