Legal Counsel – Wholesale & Supply

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide pragmatic, business‑oriented legal support for our wholesale activities within Inter IKEA Group’s Supply business. You will work in a global environment, advising on international purchasing, distribution and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements for supply, purchasing, distribution, transport and warehousing.
• Advise on cross‑border sale of goods, international trade terms, title transfer and delivery risk.
• Support purchasing and sourcing teams on global transport and distribution contracts.
• Provide guidance on intra‑group agreements, customs, trade compliance, sanctions and product requirements.
• Manage legal risk in commercial disputes and coordinate external counsel across jurisdictions.

Required profile

• Law degree with several years of post‑qualification experience in commercial, supply‑chain or wholesale law.
• Solid knowledge of international sale of goods, maritime and road transport, and cross‑border trade.
• Experience advising a global business and working across multiple legal systems.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and ownership skills, with a collaborative, values‑driven approach.

Required skills

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, practical advice for commercial audiences.
