Lifecycle Specialist – Employee Relations & Transitions

About the role

This fully remote position supports a global HR lifecycle function, helping international clients manage complex employee exits across multiple jurisdictions. You will act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, ensuring legal compliance and a respectful experience for departing employees and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end employee off‑boarding processes across various countries, maintaining compliance and high‑quality stakeholder experience.
• Provide guidance on terminations, resignations, redundancies, and employment contracts in line with local labor laws.
• Lead employee‑relations discussions, hearings, and separation processes, ensuring fair and well‑documented outcomes.
• Coordinate with legal, payroll, benefits, and customer‑success teams to execute seamless employee exits.
• Draft, review, and administer termination documentation while safeguarding confidentiality and data integrity.
• Serve as the first point of contact for employee‑relations queries, conducting preliminary assessments and directing next steps.
• Identify and propose improvements to lifecycle processes, automation, and service delivery.

Required profile

• 8+ years in HR roles such as HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with full employee‑lifecycle exposure.
• Proven experience handling voluntary and involuntary exits with strong compliance focus.
• Deep knowledge of employment‑law principles across multiple jurisdictions.
• Solid understanding of employee‑relations practices, disciplinary processes, and basic investigations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities for sensitive conversations.
• Experience thriving in remote, asynchronous, tech‑enabled environments.
