Live-In Caregiver for Elderly Client (Traveling)

About the role

A recruitment agency is looking for an experienced, compassionate live-in caretaker to look after an elderly person. The role covers the client's daily routine and light housekeeping, and includes occasional travel to Geneva, Gstaad and London. The position is based in Geneva, on a long-term contract, with full-time workload.

Key responsibilities

• Elderly care: follow the client's daily routine, offer companionship, meaningful conversation and emotional support.
• Cooking: prepare balanced, nutritious lunch and dinner, following dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Housekeeping: light duties such as making the bed and keeping the living space tidy and clean.
• Travel: accompany the client to Geneva, Gstaad and London, helping with packing and arranging transport.

Required profile

• Previous experience caring for elderly people is essential.
• Basic cooking skills and familiarity with maintaining routines and giving emotional support.
• Light housekeeping experience, including bed-making and cleaning.
• Excellent English; French is a plus.
• Flexible to travel and adapt to different environments.
• Compassionate, patient and respectful; non-smoker.
