Key responsibilities

• Perform hands‑on day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, unloading, checking, put‑away, picking, packing, labeling, kitting, dispatch and processing returns.
• Prepare, pack and move materials for internal customers, FIFA events and shipments, ensuring orders are ready on time and in the required condition.
• Coordinate and process warehouse orders and distribution activities, acting as backup for internal mail distribution.
• Conduct regular stock checks, support inventory counts, resolve discrepancies and record goods movements accurately.
• Maintain and develop the internal warehouse system to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient stock management.
• Organise domestic and international shipments, including air freight, courier services, customs clearance and preparation of shipping documentation.
• Support logistics operations on‑site at FIFA events worldwide, handling preparation, delivery, set‑up, replenishment and return of event materials.
• Advise internal stakeholders on international logistics, warehouse, distribution and shipping projects and develop supplier relationships.
• Manage logistics‑related supplier invoices, verify charges, ensure correct cost allocation and resolve discrepancies.
• Support tender preparation, evaluate offers and manage contracts with logistics service providers, continuously improving logistics concepts and processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in logistics, preferably with a strong administrative background.
• Experience in warehouse operations, distribution, international shipping or related logistics activities.
• Completed commercial apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, preferably in logistics.
• Broad knowledge of logistics with a strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations.
• Strong organisational, problem‑solving and proactive improvement mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
• Fluent in English and good command of German; additional languages such as French or Spanish are an asset.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and warehouse/logistics systems.
• Valid driving licence and readiness for stand‑by duties.
