Manager - Cloud, Data & AI - Cloud & Data Platform Architect

About the role

As a Manager in the Cloud, Data & AI team you will contribute your expertise around Microsoft technologies such as Azure and Fabric, and guide multi‑vendor ecosystems that include Master Data Management, BI, Analytics and AI. You will lead the design, analysis and delivery of data platform solutions for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, design and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of entire systems.
• Consult clients on their data architecture and provide analysis of efficiency, integration, cost, feasibility and technical dimensions.
• Take ownership of projects, ensuring successful planning, budgeting, execution and completion.
• Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines and deliverables.
• Continuously develop skills outside your skill set and stay up‑to‑date with new technologies and market demand.
• Effectively mentor others, using work reviews as opportunities to deepen team members' expertise.
• Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
• Coach and upskill teammates to ensure team growth and long‑term success.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge and proven experience with Azure and Microsoft technology stack (e.g., Fabric), supported by advanced‑level certifications.
• Microsoft certification acquired, either AZ‑305 or DP‑600/DP‑700.
• Leadership and team‑development experience.
• Over 7 years of work experience focusing on data engineering, analytics or data science; consulting experience is a plus.
• University degree in business informatics, computer science, physics, mathematics or an engineering discipline preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German proficiency preferred but not required.
