Manager / Senior Manager – Cloud, Data & AI – Data Engineering

About the role

As a Manager or Senior Manager in Cloud, Data & AI, you will lead data‑engineering initiatives for high‑profile clients across multiple industries. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to design and deliver end‑to‑end data solutions that drive digital transformation and business value.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with your team to source high‑impact projects and engage senior stakeholders in sectors such as pharma, financial services, retail, industrial products and public services.
• Propose holistic, end‑to‑end data solutions and ensure successful delivery aligned with client needs.
• Gather client requirements and design state‑of‑the‑art digitisation solutions.
• Challenge the status quo, seek necessary information, understand challenges and communicate ideas clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Implement and continuously expand knowledge of best practices in technology, data engineering, analytics and consulting.

Required profile

• University degree in business informatics, computer science, physics, mathematics or an engineering discipline (preferred).
• Over 7 years of experience in data engineering, analytics or data science; consulting experience is a plus.
• Proven experience delivering end‑to‑end solutions to internal or external clients.
• Fluency in English and German, willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally; French is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python, R and SQL.
• Experience developing and deploying data‑engineering or AI applications.
• Strong knowledge of data‑engineering concepts and practices.
