Manager - Corporate Tax

About the role

PwC's Corporate Tax team advises national and international clients on complex tax issues and develops effective structures and clear tax guidance. As a manager, you will advise a varied portfolio of corporate clients and lead meaningful projects, working in a dynamic environment where you can grow and make an impact from the start.

Key responsibilities

• Advise national and international clients in Zug or Lucerne on complex corporate tax matters and develop tailored, practical solutions.
• Lead projects such as domestic and cross-border reorganisations, acquisitions, divestitures, tax planning initiatives and selected tax accounting matters.
• Support clients with tax compliance questions while identifying risks, opportunities and efficient tax positions.
• Manage client relationships, coordinate project teams and ensure high-quality delivery across the portfolio.
• Coach and support junior team members and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Work with colleagues across Tax, Legal and Advisory, and support internal and external trainings, publications and technical events.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor or Master) in law, business administration, economics or a related field.
• Swiss Certified Tax Expert qualification completed or in its final year.
• 4-5 years of relevant corporate tax experience in consulting, industry or a related tax environment; exposure to tax accounting under IFRS or US GAAP is a plus.
• Strong English; additional languages are a strong plus.
• Analytical, solution-oriented mindset with sound judgement, resilience and ownership.
• Collaborative, client-focused personality with leadership potential and strong interpersonal skills.
