Manager Financial Services Consulting

About the role

PwC is looking for a Manager for its Financial Services Strategy & Transformation practice in Zurich. You will advise leading financial services institutions across the full value chain and asset classes, including portfolio management and the underlying technology platforms, and lead large-scale transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of project workstreams, analyse situations, structure issues, develop recommendations and drive implementation.
• Lead smaller project teams and support senior stakeholders in managing complex transformation programmes and business-critical projects.
• Collaborate across PwC's consulting practice to combine business, technology and transformation expertise.
• Support business development through market research, proposals, RfP responses, client presentations and thought leadership.
• Use emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to improve delivery and create value for clients.
• Build bridges with PwC teams working on big data, AI and robotic process automation.

Required profile

• University degree (master's level or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Financial Services, ideally with management consulting experience serving Financial Services clients.
• Strong understanding of banking, capital markets, wealth management and asset management.
• Proven experience delivering projects or leading workstreams in strategic, operational or technology-enabled transformation programmes.
• Fluency in English; German is a strong advantage, and other languages such as French are welcome.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, and availability for work visa sponsorship.
