Manager, Health Economics & Market Access (Mid‑Sized Markets)

About the role

Lead health economics and market access activities for the Surgery portfolio in Switzerland and Austria, developing robust value‑based arguments and tools to support funding and procedural adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute market access strategies for new and existing technologies.
• Build and maintain relationships with payers, healthcare professionals and governmental bodies.
• Provide health‑economic input for commercial initiatives, value‑based procurement and agreements.
• Support adaptation and local approval of regionally developed HEMA tools.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in health economics, health policy, public health, economics, outcomes research or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in medical devices, pharma, HTA, payer organisations or healthcare consultancy, preferably in MedTech.
• Strong understanding of HTA processes, healthcare systems and payer bodies in Switzerland and Austria.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and work in cross‑functional matrix environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in German language.
• Project management orientation with ability to prioritize multiple initiatives.
• Ability to synthesize clinical and health‑economic evidence into clear messages for non‑clinical stakeholders.
