Manager - International Corporate Tax (Financial Services)

About the role

PwC's tax services advise clients on tax planning, compliance and strategy, and its international tax team helps multinational businesses structure their global tax positions. This manager role advises Swiss and international financial services clients on complex international corporate tax matters, working in banking and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Swiss and international financial services clients on complex international corporate tax matters in an evolving global tax landscape.
• Manage and coordinate cross-border tax projects across multiple jurisdictions, working with corporate tax, indirect tax and transfer pricing specialists.
• Shape solutions for asset managers, wealth managers, banks and other financial institutions on corporate restructurings, transactions and the structuring of investment funds and financial services operations.
• Review and prepare tax technical analyses, opinions and rulings, and support the management of a diverse client portfolio.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law or a related discipline; an LL.M. in International Tax is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in international corporate tax and EU tax advisory, preferably in a professional services firm, consulting or law firm.
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-country tax engagements and international client projects.
• Fluency in English is required; German and/or French is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong technical knowledge of international tax, cross-border taxation and financial services tax matters.
• Experience preparing tax analyses and technical memoranda for complex client situations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with clear communication of technical matters to stakeholders.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and contribute to business development.
