Manager / Senior Manager – Cloud Architect

About the role

PwC Switzerland is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to lead high‑impact cloud transformation projects for leading clients across technology, financial services, retail, healthcare and government sectors. You will design end‑to‑end cloud architectures that incorporate AI/GenAI, data & analytics, event‑driven patterns, containerisation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver cloud transformation programmes and engage senior client stakeholders.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, resilient and cost‑efficient cloud solutions, including Azure Landing Zones, AKS, networking and AI services.
• Define target operating models, cloud landing zones and reference architectures, and establish governance and best‑practice frameworks.
• Communicate complex architectural concepts to facilitate stakeholder decision‑making.
• Contribute to business development activities such as proposals, client pitches and thought leadership.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering or platform solutions; consulting experience is a plus.
• Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end cloud solutions for internal or external clients.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Microsoft Azure (Landing Zones, Cloud Adoption Framework, AKS, Azure Networking, Entra ID, Azure OpenAI).
• Fluent English; German is a strong plus; willingness to travel within Switzerland and occasionally internationally.
