Manager / Senior Manager – Cloud, Data & AI (FinOps)

About the role

As a Manager or Senior Manager in Cloud, Data & AI (FinOps) you will partner with clients to optimise their cloud spend, embed FinOps best practices and drive cost‑efficiency across their cloud environments. You will lead engagements from initial assessment through to implementation, coaching both client and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse clients' cloud financial and technical implementations and deliver actionable improvement recommendations.
• Plan and execute FinOps initiatives, tailoring governance, budgeting and reporting to client maturity levels.
• Identify large‑scale cost‑saving opportunities and design cost‑governance models.
• Implement automation, tooling and DevOps practices to accelerate FinOps adoption.
• Design and deliver trainings and workshops for IT, finance and business stakeholders.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery quality, commercial outcomes and client relationships.
• Mentor and develop high‑performing FinOps and cloud teams.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership within PwC’s FinOps practice.

Required profile

• University degree in business informatics, computer science, engineering, mathematics or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience with a proven FinOps track record.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one major public cloud, preferably Azure.
• Advanced cloud certification (Architect or Engineer) and FinOps Certified Practitioner (additional FinOps certifications a plus).
• Strong communication skills in English and willingness to travel within Switzerland.
