Senior Cyber Security Architect

About the role

PwC's Cybersecurity unit in Zurich is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to join its Cybersecurity team and help evolve its cyber transformation practice. The role guides the design and implementation of comprehensive cybersecurity architectures for clients, working with enterprise architecture and senior stakeholders across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust, scalable, future-proof security architectures for a diverse client base, acting as lead security architect on projects (Zero Trust, Network, OT, Data & Cloud, Cryptography)
• Assess client cybersecurity posture and give strategic recommendations aligned with best practices and regulations
• Support large-scale business and cyber transformation programs, working with client IT, risk and compliance teams
• Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling to guide architecture decisions
• Take part in proposals, client presentations and workshops, communicating complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
• Cultivate a client network and coach and develop team members

Required profile

• At least 8+ years in information security architecture, including at least 4 years dedicated to security architecture
• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, Business IT or a related field
• Fluent English; German or French is a plus
• Good mentorship and team-building skills, and the ability to engage executive-level stakeholders

Required skills

• Knowledge of Cloud, Network, Zero Trust, Data Protection or related domains
• Information security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, CISM, TOGAF or CCSP are highly desirable
• Experience with DevSecOps and security tool implementation is a strong plus
