Manual QA Engineer (Web & CRM)

About the role

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality of web applications and internal CRM systems for a fast‑growing product environment in Switzerland. You will work closely with product managers and developers, taking part in feature discussions and influencing quality standards from the earliest stages.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, usability and UI/UX testing on web apps, CRM platforms, email campaigns and push notifications.
• Validate API functionality using Postman, Swagger or similar tools with both positive and negative test cases.
• Use browser developer tools to investigate logs, network activity and console errors.
• Document, prioritize and communicate defects with detailed reproduction steps and evidence.
• Participate in sprint planning, risk assessment and quality discussions throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve testing processes, standards and documentation.
• Provide feedback on usability, reliability and overall user experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of manual QA experience on web‑based applications.
• Experience testing CRM platforms, email marketing campaigns and customer communication workflows.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies and test design techniques.
• Hands‑on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Proficiency in creating test cases, test plans and bug reports using Jira or similar tools.
• Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, BigQuery or DataGrip.
• Basic knowledge of Git workflows and CI/CD concepts (e.g., GitLab).
• Experience with monitoring and debugging tools such as Grafana, Lens, Charles Proxy or Fiddler.
