Manufacturing Engineering Manager (CNC / Lean / Automation)

About the role

Our client, an established industrial manufacturer of high‑precision mechanical components, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary technical function. The role combines team leadership, Lean manufacturing, CNC expertise, and technical project management to drive continuous improvement and new product industrialization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams in manufacturing engineering, design, and CNC programming.
• Drive continuous improvement of production processes and implement Lean manufacturing practices.
• Oversee industrialization of new products and integration of new production capabilities.
• Coordinate technical activities across process engineering, applications, and production teams.
• Select, procure, install, and integrate new machinery and automated systems.
• Design and improve production workflows, shop‑floor layouts, and CNC machining processes.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in industrial production or manufacturing engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing or technical management role.
• Strong practical experience implementing Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with procurement and integration of machinery, automation, and specialized tooling.
• Fluent in French and English.
