MBA Student Experience Coordinator Intern

About the role

IMD, an independent university institute founded in Lausanne, Switzerland, offers a one-year full-time MBA programme. It is looking for a dynamic 100% intern (1 February – 31 July 2027) to support the MBA Participant Experience and Academic Services operations. The programme is delivered face-to-face.

Key responsibilities

• Support the organisation of the MBA programmes to a high standard of service
• Coordinate programme deliverables, collect teaching materials from faculty and liaise with internal departments such as marketing, communication and F&B
• Handle administrative tasks, follow up with departments and organise special events, meetings and support for guest speakers
• Support the creation of learning portals and record participant attendance and absence
• Support participants during the programme and provide support for digital sessions
• Carry out general secretarial duties and collaborate on process improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in hospitality or event management; a commercial diploma with strong experience in a multicultural customer relations role is also possible
• Experience of other cultures or working in an international environment
• Organization, administration, time management and coordination skills
• Excellent English; French and other languages are an advantage
• Valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EEA/EFTA citizenship

Required skills

• Computer literacy (MS Office 365)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team
