Medical Director (MD), Multiple Sclerosis

About the role

Roche is seeking a Medical Director to join its Neuroimmunology team, focusing on Multiple Sclerosis. This junior‑to‑mid‑level individual contributor will help shape and execute late‑stage clinical development strategies for innovative therapies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to the creation of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) and ensure alignment with long‑term lifecycle goals.
• Design and oversee Phase II and Phase III studies, collaborating with cross‑functional teams on analytics, data management, and safety.
• Maintain up‑to‑date scientific and clinical expertise in MS and neuroimmunology.
• Engage with health authorities, providing clinical input for regulatory filings, briefing packages, and labeling.
• Build relationships with investigators, key opinion leaders, and internal partners across research, commercial, and legal functions.
• Act as medical monitor for assigned studies, ensuring accurate interpretation of medical and scientific data.

Required profile

• Medical degree (M.D.) with clinical experience as a Neurologist, preferably with specialized training or extensive work with MS patients.
• Strong scientific background, including peer‑reviewed publications or academic teaching experience.
• Minimum two years of industry experience in MS clinical development or recognized expertise in the MS field.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional, matrixed environments.
