Medical Scientific Liaison – Oncology (Genitourinary & NSCLC)

About the role

The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) Oncology will serve as the scientific bridge between Johnson & Johnson and healthcare professionals in Switzerland, focusing on genitourinary (GU) cancers and non‑small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Based in Zug, the MSL will deliver up‑to‑date scientific information, support medical education, and gather field insights to inform internal strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific resource for healthcare professionals on GU cancer and NSCLC, providing the latest data and emerging trends.
• Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with key opinion leaders, external experts, and medical societies.
• Collect, document, and relay medical insights and unmet needs from the field to internal teams.
• Deliver scientific presentations, advisory board support, and educational activities in accordance with the activity plan.
• Execute a measurable activity plan with specific objectives and report performance metrics.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent) with strong scientific background in oncology.
• Demonstrated expertise in genitourinary cancers and NSCLC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with HCPs and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based, customer‑facing role.
• Fluency in English; German proficiency is a plus.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of oncology therapeutic areas, especially GU cancer and NSCLC.
• Experience in medical affairs or scientific liaison functions.
• Proficiency in delivering scientific presentations and educational sessions.
• Strong analytical skills for insight generation and reporting.
