Multimedia Officer – Global Communications

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Multimedia Officer to support its global communications strategy. Working under the Head of Multimedia in the Department of Media and Communications, the officer will create and disseminate high‑quality visual content that showcases IOM’s programmes, campaigns, and field operations.

Key responsibilities

• Produce photography and videography that captures IOM activities, events, and projects worldwide.
• Develop creative multimedia storytelling assets aligned with IOM’s strategic communication objectives.
• Collaborate with regional and country offices to generate audiovisual material that highlights project achievements.
• Provide editorial guidance, quality assurance, and multimedia training to partners and staff.
• Support visibility and reporting efforts for flagship campaigns and operational programmes.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in multimedia production, preferably within an international or humanitarian context.
• Strong visual storytelling ability and understanding of global communication audiences.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with diverse teams across regions.
