National Consultant – Private Sector & Industry Mapping for EU Complementary Food

About the role

The International Trade Centre is seeking a National Consultant to lead the mapping of the private‑sector and industry ecosystem for the European formulated complementary food sector. The assignment is home‑based in Uganda and runs for six months, starting as soon as possible.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit a monthly programme monitoring and reporting package for each of the six months, including compliance trackers, performance monitoring frameworks, verified datasets and analytical summaries.
• Maintain and update the compliance tracker and KPI scorecards throughout the assignment.
• Coordinate with partners to gather evidence of reporting support activities and ensure data quality.
• Consolidate activity records for missions, workshops, events and technical assistance.
• Produce the final consultancy report summarising activities, achievements, lessons learned and recommendations, together with an audit‑ready repository of documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in delivering consultancy reports and monthly monitoring packages for international trade or development projects.
