Technical Studentship – Electrical/Electronics Engineering

About the role

You will join CERN’s environment where learning and discovery go hand in hand, gaining hands‑on experience while supporting electrical and electronics engineering projects.

Key responsibilities

• Learn from and assist experienced engineers, technicians and scientists.
• Contribute to projects involving installation, testing or maintenance of electrical and electronic systems.
• Participate in day‑to‑day technical activities under close supervision.
• Collaborate with an international, multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Currently studying Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field.
• Must complete a practical training period as required or encouraged by your university.
• Eager to develop skills through on‑the‑job learning.
• Enjoy teamwork in a collaborative setting.

Required skills

• Good understanding of electrical engineering or electronics fundamentals.
• Curiosity, precision and a proactive attitude towards learning.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
