About the role
Join Nestlé’s NeStep program – a 12‑month immersive experience for recent graduates. As a NeStep talent in Packaging Innovation you will help create sustainable paper‑based packaging for coffee products while gaining hands‑on experience across R&D, marketing and operations.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of innovative paper‑based packaging solutions for coffee, both flexible and rigid formats.
- Contribute to the transition from plastic to paper packaging while preserving functionality, quality and consumer experience.
- Coordinate laboratory activities, technical testing and trials, then summarise results and recommendations for project teams.
- Collaborate with internal partners and external suppliers to explore new materials, formats and technical solutions.
- Create mock‑ups, prototypes, sketches or renderings to visualise new packaging concepts.
Required profile
- Master’s graduate in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Design or a related field with a strong interest in packaging innovation.
- Agile, organised and proactive, able to manage multiple activities, adapt to changing priorities and translate technical data into clear insights.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, confident working with laboratories, project teams, business partners and suppliers.
- Fluency in English; French is an asset.
- Demonstrates courage, speed, continuous learning and the ability to turn ideas into measurable impact.
Required skills
- Laboratory testing and technical trial execution.
- Prototype and mock‑up creation for packaging concepts.
- Development of sustainable paper‑based packaging solutions.
