About the role
Expeditors is seeking an experienced Ocean Specialist to join its team in Kloten. The role involves managing sea‑freight shipments and providing high‑quality support to customers in a dynamic logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage ocean freight shipments, including bookings and pickups.
- Provide consulting and support to customers to ensure top‑notch service and develop business relationships.
- Coordinate with shipping lines and global offices to ensure smooth operations and design customized SOPs to meet KPIs.
Required profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in ocean freight.
- Structured, quality‑oriented working approach with strong customer focus.
- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2) and fluent German.
Required skills
- English language proficiency (B2 level or higher).
- German language proficiency (fluent).
