About the role
We are looking for a motivated Ocean Specialist to join our team in Switzerland (Kloten, Zurich or Morbio Inferiore). You will manage ocean freight shipments and support customers in a dynamic international logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage ocean freight shipments, including bookings and pickups.
- Provide consulting and support to customers to ensure high service quality and develop business relationships.
- Coordinate with shipping lines and Expeditors offices worldwide to ensure smooth operations.
- Design and implement customized SOPs to meet KPIs and improve process quality.
Required profile
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably in freight forwarding or logistics.
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience in ocean freight.
- Structured, quality‑oriented working approach with strong customer focus.
- Excellent written and spoken English (minimum B2) and fluent German.
