Operator / Biotechnologist (50%-100%)

About the role

Join Lonza's manufacturing team in Visp, Switzerland, to contribute to the production of life‑changing medicines. This site‑based position offers flexible work options from part‑time to full‑time and supports relocation for eligible candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Execute production operations across various biopharmaceutical processes, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and cGMP standards.
• Document production activities, perform process‑related calculations, and maintain accurate records.
• Identify, investigate and resolve process deviations to drive continuous manufacturing excellence.
• Collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams and support onboarding of new staff.

Required profile

• Education in biotechnology, biopharmaceutical sciences, chemistry or a related life‑science discipline.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of cGMP principles and quality‑focused manufacturing practices.
• Strong attention to detail, safety orientation and effective English communication; German is a plus.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns, including 4‑shift operations.
