OT Network and Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/x)

About the role

Everllence, a global engineering group active in the marine, energy and industrial sectors, is looking for an OT Network and Cyber Security Engineer based in Zurich (80–100% position). The role covers network architecture, configuration, project support and testing of network and cybersecurity requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and document complex network architectures and cybersecurity measures according to customer specifications.
• Set up firewalls and other network components.
• Supervise and support internal and external teams on network and cybersecurity requirements.
• Conduct cybersecurity and network factory acceptance tests (FAT) and resolve issues.
• Provide first-level support and share expertise within the department.

Required profile

• Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in network engineering; experience in automation technology and plant engineering is a plus.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443 standards and experience in cybersecurity risk assessment for control systems.
• Strong English communication skills; German is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with statically managed networks, including firewalling, VLANs and ring topologies; knowledge of OT control systems is a plus.
• Certifications in cybersecurity or network engineering are a plus.
• Proficiency with network devices from Hirschmann, Siemens, Fortinet and Phoenix Contact; knowledge of Siemens PCS7 and Allen Bradley systems is a plus.
