Outbound BDC Agent

About the role

Better Car People is seeking an energetic Outbound BDC Agent to act as an extension of its dealership partners. You will engage customers in both English and Spanish, creating meaningful interactions that drive appointments and sales opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls, send emails and texts to engage dealership customers.
• Communicate dealership products, services and promotions clearly and professionally.
• Schedule appointments and generate customer engagement opportunities.
• Meet daily activity and engagement targets.
• Use company‑provided CRM and technology platforms to track interactions.
• Maintain accurate, detailed notes for each conversation.
• Participate in ongoing training, coaching and quality‑assurance initiatives.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to achieve results.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, call centre, BDC, appointment‑setting or sales (preferred).
• Strong communication skills with a professional phone presence.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and a positive attitude.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple conversations simultaneously.
• Goal‑oriented, coachable and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Experience with online scheduling tools such as Xtime or Online Service Scheduler.
• Working knowledge of Google Drive and related applications.
• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
