People & Organisational Development Manager

About the role

As a People & Organisational Development Manager within UEFA’s HR Development unit, you will shape and deliver an integrated learning, leadership and organisational development ecosystem. You will lead a small team, advise HR business partners and business leaders, and support managers and teams through change, building future‑ready capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and continuously evolve UEFA’s learning and talent development strategy.
• Analyse organisational and team development needs together with HR partners, managers and employees.
• Design, govern and continuously improve a coherent portfolio of development programmes.
• Create and facilitate learning programmes, workshops and a ‘manager‑as‑coach’ mindset.
• Oversee learning operations, including the management of UEFA’s learning platform.
• Collaborate with colleagues leading training initiatives to ensure alignment and community building.
• Provide targeted coaching for leaders and teams, maintaining a high‑quality coaching framework.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify development needs and guide personalised development plans.
• Own and evolve promotion and succession planning processes, including development centre assessments.
• Provide strategic direction for health and well‑being initiatives aligned with organisational culture.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience in learning, talent or people development in an international environment.
• Proven ability to build learning and development strategies aligned to organisational needs.
• Strong background in people development and coaching.
• University degree in human resources, psychology, education, business or a related field.
• Coaching certification from a recognised institution.
• Additional training or certification in assessment tools (e.g., Insights, PI, 360‑feedback) and change‑management is a plus.
