Platform Engineer - Developer Portals & Self-Service Environments

About the role

Zühlke, a Swiss-founded global transformation partner, is looking for a Platform Engineer to develop and operate Developer Portals and Self-Service Environments for its clients. The role involves customizing and integrating best-of-breed tools so that development processes are simplified and the user experience is outstanding.

Key responsibilities

• Customize and integrate tools to meet each client's specific needs
• Help manage service operations to keep availability and performance high
• Work closely with clients to turn their needs into technical requirements
• Support the team in maintaining security and compliance
• Continuously look for ways to improve the platform, processes and practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Business fluent in German and English
• Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and a customer-focused mindset

Required skills

• Software development and DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containers, infrastructure as code)
• Hands-on experience building solutions in Azure
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and Go
• Familiarity with a range of development tools and platforms
