PNL Analyst – Geneva

About the role

Musket Europe SARL, a Geneva‑based commodity supply and trading firm, is looking for a PNL Analyst to calculate and report market risk and profitability of its trading portfolio. The role combines independent analysis with close partnership to the front‑office and middle‑office teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate exposure, mark‑to‑market (MTM) and profitability reporting for assigned transactions.
• Enter all trades into the Right Angle (RA) system and manage scheduling, profit/loss reporting, re‑booking and accounting close.
• Collaborate with contract administration, accounting, inventory control and external parties to resolve pricing or volume discrepancies.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for RA and PNL reporting across the middle‑office desk.
• Support other risk‑team members and assist with year‑end audit and forward MTM validation.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience with Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Previous exposure to front‑office trading environments and direct interaction with traders.
• Experience in risk management, preferably within energy trading or investment banking.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities, comfortable handling large data sets.
