Power BI Consultant – HR Dashboard

About the role

IMPACT Initiatives, a Geneva-based applied research organisation, has asked a consultant to finalise, validate and operationalise its HR Power BI dashboard. The dashboard will centralise HR data coming from CORE, JIRA and country-level trackers, and give real-time visibility on workforce composition, recruitment, turnover, expatriation, contract management, diversity and workforce planning. The consultant starts from the work already done and the HR Dashboard Gap Mapping document.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing HR data sources, reporting processes and dashboard requirements, then integrate data from CORE, JIRA and historical Excel files into a single reporting environment.
• Finalise the workforce dashboard, including corrected categorisation of National, International and HQ staff, staff evolution and geographic distribution.
• Improve the global and international staff profile and evolution pages, with numerical distribution by country, average age evolution and consistent filters.
• Redesign the diversity reporting with GN/GS ratios, a diversity profile filtered by contract type, gender, country and nationality, and restore expatriation evolution.
• Complete vacancy and recruitment reporting, including vacancy rates, due-vacancy rate, vacancy openings split and vacancy closure outcomes.
• Add a recruitment duration-to-close analysis, reviewed against the existing time_to_done_hours measure.
• Complete surge reporting with country breakdown and National vs International fill rates.
• Add staff retention, exits and turnover reporting, plus a Staff Performance and Development indicator (percentage of eligible staff appraised).
• Develop contractual visibility reporting for International Staff in Grades 3 and 4, and improve its readability.
• Validate calculations, reconcile historical data with current reporting, document calculation rules and data sources, and run testing and handover with HR stakeholders.

The consultant must submit a CV, a Power BI work example or portfolio link, and a short financial and work proposal stating the daily rate in CHF and estimated working days per deliverable. Applications close on 8 November.
