About the role

Lead the design, development, validation, and deployment of advanced AI, machine learning, optimization, and analytics solutions for strategic business challenges at a global waste infrastructure innovator.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, validation, and deployment of advanced AI/ML solutions.
• Act as the organization’s AI and Data Science subject matter expert, driving adoption of best‑in‑class methodologies.
• Define and maintain standards for experimentation, model validation, MLOps, monitoring, explainability, and lifecycle management.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to develop AI‑driven use cases and influence product strategy.
• Mentor technical teams, promote innovation, and ensure AI solutions meet regulatory, security, and governance requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering multiple production‑grade AI/ML solutions from concept through operations.
• Strong expertise in machine learning, MLOps, cloud platforms, data engineering, and software development practices.
• Experience across the full AI solution lifecycle, including PoC, MVP, industrialization, deployment, and support.
• Demonstrated technical leadership with a successful track record of mentoring and developing talent.
• Relevant industry experience and ability to translate business needs into scalable AI‑driven solutions.
