Privacy & Responsible AI Manager

About the role

This position is based in Switzerland and offers the chance to shape privacy, data governance, and responsible AI practices for a global organization. You will act as a trusted advisor, ensuring compliance with evolving regulations while enabling innovative, ethical use of data and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business leaders and cross‑functional teams on privacy, Responsible AI, and data‑governance best practices.
• Embed Privacy‑by‑Design and Responsible AI principles into products, services, and strategic initiatives.
• Lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), AI risk assessments, and related governance activities.
• Manage privacy assessment workflows and compliance processes using OneTrust.
• Collaborate with regional teams to implement global privacy standards while addressing local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Cyber Security, Legal, Product, HR, Finance and other functions to integrate privacy and AI governance into risk‑management processes.
• Provide guidance on privacy compliance for digital marketing, AdTech, cookie management, consumer IoT, HR systems, finance, big data and AI‑enabled services.
• Support investigation, reporting and remediation of personal data breaches.
• Continuously improve privacy governance frameworks, policies, processes and best practices.
• Monitor evolving privacy and AI regulations to maintain ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Extensive expertise in privacy, data protection and Responsible AI.
• Strong stakeholder‑management experience in complex, global organisations.
• Proven background in privacy, data‑governance or related governance roles, preferably in telecommunications or another highly regulated industry.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR, the ePrivacy Directive and broader European privacy legislation.
• Working knowledge of the EU AI Act and emerging Responsible AI regulatory frameworks.
• Solid understanding of global privacy regulations and their application across products and services.
