Private Banking Assistant – Europe (BSISA)

About the role

Banco Santander International S.A. is looking for a Private Banking Assistant to support its Front Office (FO) team in daily business. The role involves service tasks that help bankers understand the needs of their clients, and requires eligibility to work in Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service and administrative support in opening banking relationships, including Legal & Compliance matters
• Monitor task progress and ensure proper follow-up
• Check balance positions, loans and transfers, and handle requests for payment instructions
• Process applications and inquiries related to Credit/Debit Card operations and back office
• Collaborate with Onboarding, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Payments and back office, and verify that requested transactions are processed
• Manage FX transactions and wire transfers, and prepare new accounts and updates
• Prepare documentation and assist Bankers and other Front Office members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-4 years of experience in the financial and banking industry (customer service, operations, compliance, back office, client handling, reporting)
• Fluent English; French and Spanish highly valued
• Eligible to work in Switzerland
