Private Banking Assistant – Europe (BSISA)

About the role

Banco Santander International S.A. is looking for a Private Banking Assistant to support its Front Office (FO) team in daily business-as-usual tasks. The role involves service tasks, administrative support and operational follow-up, learning the needs of bankers and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service and administrative support in opening banking relationships, including Legal & Compliance matters
• Monitor task progress and ensure proper follow-up
• Check balance positions, loans and transfers
• Handle requests for payment instructions
• Process applications and inquiries related to Credit/Debit Card operations and back office
• Collaborate with Onboarding, Legal & Compliance, Credit, Payments and back office
• Verify that requested transactions are completed or processed by operations
• Manage FX transactions and wire transfers
• Handle new accounts and updates
• Prepare documentation and assist Bankers and other Front Office members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree
• 1-4 years of experience in the financial and banking industry (customer service, operations, compliance, back office, client handling, reporting)
• Fluent English; French and Spanish highly valued
• Eligible to work in Switzerland
